And if you are going to comment on subjects i.e. religion know what your’re talking about first. Otherwise you just sound like fools. I am not of the religion that is constantly reviled here but my religion says you don’t have to agree but respect others right to believe the way they want. I wonder what our forefathers really fought and died for? It certainly doesn’t seem to be freedom of religion.

Over the years, I’ve found this GEDCOM file issue to be a stumbling block with the majority genealogy researchers. Here is genealogy GEDCOM file video mini-workshop for you, with step-by-step lessons in an easy-to-understand presentation. This mini-workshop is broken down into three parts: Robert Ragan’s Mini-Workshop: ————————————- “Working with GEDCOM Files Made Easy.” – Part 1: Why GEDCOM files are a genealogy researcher’s best friend: This introduction section shows you what GEDCOM files are and begins to solve the mystery and confusion that surrounds them. The majority of genealogy researchers don’t know how to work with them and are missing out on so much. – Part 2: Genealogy software does all the work for you: You will see how to import (look at), export (save your own GEDCOM files) and how easy it is to do. Hopefully, you already have a favorite genealogy software program that you are using. If not, there is a link to a powerful free program (that happens to be my personal favorite) that you can get. – Part 3: You CAN do it: Here, you will see how to work with GEDCOM files in a different genealogy software program. Also, see a search on one of the many sites on the Internet where you can get GEDCOM files with the surnames that you are researching. I believe that the light bulbs will start going off in your mind, and you will finally understand what all of the fuss about GEDCOM files is all about. The lessons and examples in this workshop go …

Some of the papers are kind of spotty on the issues they have, but you can’t complain about the price Maybe not as good as subscription sites, but on the other hand I have found information not on them.
