I am not talking about the bottom of my feet. It’s starts right above the ankle all the way to the rest of my feet on top. It doesn’t look as smooth as the rest of my body. I cut myself more often there when I am shaving because the skin there isn’t as smooth (also rough looking).

Is there such a thing as having two different skin textures on the body? How can I make it look smooth?
David, u r being stupid. Of course I wash my feet.
Grace, I don’t have eczema.

In today’s health conscious world, it has become a necessity more than a luxury to keep your body in perfect shape and condition, body detoxification has shown several benefits that help you do the same. It is a method by which the toxins that enter out body through various sources are flushed out. Body detoxification not only helps in improving your health but also keeps your body in good shape.

Most of us often tend to forget that our skin is among the most important filters that out body posses. It plays a big role in releasing and absorbing toxins and can have a major role to play when it comes to body detoxification process.

In case you are looking for a program that would make you feel and look younger along with helping you lose the extra weight, you could consider going for Body detox wrap. This is a process of extracting those harmful toxins from your body and releasing them through your skin. Body detox wrap is considered to be one of the easiest ways of body detoxification.

This process of detoxification is not just about removing the harmful toxins from your body, it also ensures that the essential organs of the body that help in blood purification, which also includes your skin, are functioning properly and are in perfect shape.

A body detox wrap draws out toxins from within the body through the skin. A body detox wrap is a great way to remove toxins from the body through the skin that maybe much harder to remove through other detoxification processes such as dietary changes or purges.

Usually, the body detox wrap is about applying mineral rich clay that generally consists of certain kinds of ash to the skin. Next, the clay is kept in place with the help of different kinds of wraps depending on the kind of detoxification process you want to go through.

It depends on your personal preferences whether you want to go for full body detox wrap or a specific area at a time. But I suggest going for specific areas as a full body detox wrap may have certain side effects. This is because with a full body wrap you will be losing a large amount of toxins from your body at a very fast rate.

Opting for body detox wrap can help you use your skin in a terrific way to lose toxins from your system by pulling them out directly. This process not only helps in losing harmful toxins but also in losing additional weight. Usually, the non-processed toxins are stored in your body fat, which must be removed at the earliest to avoid further toxin build up. These fats are removed easier when they do not contain any potential harmful toxins.

So to conclude, in case you are thinking of trying out body detox wrap then going ahead with it won’t be a bad idea. But it is advisable that you go for partial body detox wrap rather than full body to avoid any side effects.

Are you sick and tired of trying many different body creams one after another, and finding that none of them actually do what they claim? With the wide variety of body lotion and creams available in the market, it can be really confusing to choose a product that really is good for your skin. Here is a checklist to make this process easy:

1. Do proper research into the ingredients of the body creams you consider, before making a purchase.
2. Do not limit yourself to the neighborhood drug store. There are many good products available on the internet, just Google it and you can find some hidden gems.
3. Check the ingredients carefully. Many products by big companies contain harsh chemicals in them like Parabens – which are effective preservatives and make the product last longer, but are in fact, harmful for the skin; and mineral oils – which do provide temporary relief from dry skin but also make the skin dependent on them and even drier in the long run.
4. Look for natural ingredients. Body lotion and creams that contain natural substances are the best ones, as they are very effective and also do not cause any side effects which you may face with creams containing chemicals inside.
5. Choose an appropriate product according to your need. There are different body creams for different needs. The contents of a day cream would vary slightly from that of a night lotion, and may prove more effective if you spend a lot of time out in the sun.
6. Check if the product manufacturer offers a money back guarantee. This is important because a guarantee shows that the company is confident of their products, and may be an indicator of a quality product.

As this is really important, let’s take a deeper look at which natural ingredients you should be looking for in the body creams you evaluate. First of all, look for natural oils instead of mineral oils in the creams. Natural plant based oils like macadamia and avocado hydrate the skin effectively without using any chemicals. Phytessence Wakame, the extract of a Japanese sea kelp, is very effective at protecting the elasticity and smoothness of the skin.

Many products contain Collagen and Elastin in them, and claim to make the skin smoother because of them. The reality is, applying collagen topically on the skin will not provide any benefit at all. This is because the size of the collagen molecules is too big to be absorbed by the skin. Body creams containing Cynergy TK are much more effective as they stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in the body itself.

In conclusion, doing just a little upfront research into body creams will make it really easy to find a good product that suits your skin.

Collagen has been widely used in cosmetic surgery as a healing aid for burn patients, reconstruction of bone and a wide variety of dental, orthopaedic and surgical purposes. Until quite recently Collagen as a beauty treatment has not been widely used for household cosmetic makeup.

What is collagen?

It is probably more popularly known in the beauty industry as being used in cosmetic surgery, like lip enhancement.

Collagen is also one of the most abundant proteins found in mammals. Approximately one quarter of all of the protein in your body is collagen. Collagen is the main protein of connective tissue. It has great tensile strength, and is the main component of ligaments and tendons. It is responsible for skin elasticity, and its degradation leads to wrinkles that accompany aging. Collagen also fills out the cornea where it is present in crystalline form.

Without getting too technical about its chemical make up it is a basically a triple helix compound with 1050 amino acids in it. Superimposition of these triple helix compounds produces fibrils of collagen that can be stabilised. By doing this it renders the collagen insoluble, buy using hydrolysis the collagen can be brought into a soluble form resulting in Collagen Hydrolysates. Collagen hydrolysates as a natural biological cosmetic ingredient are isolated and purified using mild extraction or gentle enzymatic degradation. They are dermatologically compatible and free of all contaminants.

Why is Collagen Good for the skin?

High-molecular collagen is an important moisture retainer and is suitable for all skin types. It has been proven that collagens increase hydration, improve skin feeling and decrease the extent and depth of wrinkles.
Protein hydrolysates or wheat protein hydrolysate due to their film-forming properties, provide additional positive effects by contributing to skin smoothness and softness. They also have a remarkably high capacity for free radical capture.

With the busy lifestyles most of us lead now days, everything has to be done quicker. Doing thing quicker often involves cutting corners. This might be reflective in our diets, fitness, sleep, etc. Ultimately any one of the previous will have an effect on the skins body and health. By using a Collagen skin care product you can be getting the optimum nutrition to support the skin and body’s health.

The Benefits of Collagen

* Collagen is a protein that acts as a key structural component of connective tissue in skin, hair, nails and joints.

* The inner layer of the skin contains large amounts of collagen which breaks down at a rate of 1.5% every year after the age of 25. The skin’s surface becomes dull and lifeless and the elasticity reduces over time causing certain parts to sag and wrinkle.

* Collagen has been proven to be beneficial for the improvement of the elasticity of the skin aiding repair and regeneration of ligaments, tendons, joints and bones and improving the connective tissue of the skin.

* In the Harvard Medical School arthritis research on collagen, up to 89.9% of those tested reported a greater ease of movement.
The way your skin looks is directly related to the way your skin is supported. Wrinkles form when the natural collagen and hyaluronic acid in your skin diminish during the natural ageing process.

* Collagen provides structure and volume to your skin.

* Collagen allows protein to be bio-available and water soluble – meaning it can be absorbed readily.

* Collagen stabilises the body’s immune system and helps neutralise production of abnormal molecular structures which is also known to be a major cause of joint problems and stiffness and provides the raw materials for cartilage.

* Collagen to works at its optimum level during alpha sleep mode when the body’s regeneration and rejuvenation mechanism is at its best. Therefore it is best to take supplements 1 hour after eating and just before sleeping.

* Drinking 1 1/2 litres of water daily helps disperse nutrients into the body and aid the detoxifying and regeneration process.

Collagen Skin Care products can give the face a dramatic boost, by simply replenishing what the skin is naturally loosing. This treatment will result in a natural younger looking face, and delay the need for Cosmetic Surgery. By combining a Collagen skin care routine with the application of natural ESCA makeup a much younger cleaner face can emerge.

In this video I share with you a great tip to moisturize and protect your skin naturally to help prevent dry skin. This wonderful natural tip will result in soft, supple nourished skin; you will actually be feeding your skin while you moisturize it. With this method, you can lock in moisture all over your body immediately after you shower while you are still wet which leaves your skin soft and smooth and with a beautiful healthy sheen. This can only be done by using these oils. You cannot experience the benefit of this method by using lotions and creams as they will simply become too diluted. Please remember tosubscribe because I have so much more to come; something helpful and of interest to everyone. Thanks so much for viewing!

A lot of people swear by water. One of my friends drinks it a lot, and he said drinking water helps him to function better, and he even claims it helps him sleep better. Another friend claimed, when I asked him how his skin stays so clear, that all he does is use water on his skin. No soap, no cleanser, just water. Also, drinking a lot of water is supposed to help with weight loss efforts. And when people have kidney infections, they’re told that drinking a lot of water helps. My question is, what is it about water that makes it a cure all for the body? Does water really have all the abilities people claim it does, or is it something that people have gotten in their head to be true, so therefore they swear by it’s “powers”? What’s with water?
