I’m looking at swapping out my car’s factory audio system and starting from scratch- but I have no clue as to what components are needed and how to set them up. What I would like is a crash course in car audio, and suggestions for good speakers, wires etc- I have a little electronics background so I shouldn’t have any problem understanding any wiring/electrical issues. I’d like a more acoustic setup if possible.

Normally, I’d let a professional deal with setting things up, but I’ve been wanting to get into audio systems, and this would be a great start for me. I greatly appreciate any help or instructions.

I know everyones gna say it will depend on the car audio set up and brands etc etc but is there a type of car ie. sedan, hatchback, coupe etc that seems produce the best sound? Perhaps hatchbacks as there’s nothing that stops the sound from the boot compared to a sedan?

Can anyone provide me with details on using oscilloscope software plus my laptop to tune my car audio setup?

I have a head unit plus an amp and 12″ subwoofer in the trunk, I’d like to be able to tune it using oscilloscope software but not sure what programs may be out there to do the job, and also not sure whether an ordinary PC microphone will be adequate or if I need something better?

The aftermarket performance upgrade I would get would be an increase hp by 20. The aftermarket audio upgrade would be some nice Polk Audio or Alpine. i have a JL audio 8 inch home theatre subwoofer and it bumps hard but i want to put it into my car cuz it shakes my walls and stuff… but i dont know how to cuz it runs off of 120 volts AC out of the wall and car audio is DC… what could i do to put it in my car?

Subscribe For More Information On These ORIGINAL Tracks – Cultivata & MC Fathom Phantom** Step 1: Cut to length your 3/4 inch wood sliver to fit your applied fuse ( ANL ) Step 2: Mark & Drill 2 holes for the mouting bolts – matching the spot up with the eye. Step 3: Use a 1/2 inch butteryfly bit to shave down the existing hole by 1/4 inch ( This allows for Flush Mounted Heads ) Step 4: Drill 2, 2 inch by 5/8 inch fine thread screws into each hole, threading will occur naturally. Step 5: Then take 2 lug fasteners and find prefered fuse location along the 2″ bolt. Step 6: Place fuse onto post, and screw on 2 more addition lugs. ( This will affix the fuse to the post firmly & securly ) Step 7: ( At This Point, solder the terminals onto your wire ) I will be getting some soon! Step 8: Fill the back of the fuse block with wood filler! ( This will prevent grounding out ) Step 9: Place terminals over post, and screw on 2 more additional lugs ( This will affix the terminals to the post firmly & securly ) Step 10: ENJOY!
