What does a car maintenance checkup entail?

Friday, July 30th, 2010

I bought a used 2007 Camry in December. I recently got a letter from the dealer mentioning that the first maintenance checkup will be coming up. I called and they recommend about every 5,000. I’m at about 3,000 miles since purchase (37,500 total)

So, my question is what does this maintenance thing entail? What do they do, and how much does it cost assuming nothing needs to be fixed or anything (base cost) ….is this the same kind of thing you’d get at an oil change place? Please advice
