My leased car’s registration is due for the whole year, but I have only extended my lease for three months before I will be leasing a new vehicle and paying registration then. Do I have to pay the full years registration for the car I will be turning in in three months? I live in California and the registration fees are ridiculous here. I have a hard time paying $250 for three months of registration. Thanks!

My father once had a car registration number ending 303. This is the number of one most famous World War Two fighter squadron. None of the famous 303 Polish fighter aces are alive today, but every year a tribute is s mad to the 1973 pilots who lost their lives during the War. The terrible shock of losing anyone and I have lost my pianist, is measured in the fighter gathering at Northolt. The Pianoorte General is less famous and no accolade be in tribute to that. The price however my father paid as a WWII soldier and pianis is unequalled by some, not all. This is part tribute to him.

The Las Vegas Township Constable has unveiled its “Fair Share” program to crack down on residents who fail to register their vehicles. As the program was announced, the Las Vegas Township Constable offered a 30-day grace period through Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, to encourage motorists within its jurisdiction to register their vehicles with the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. Starting Aug. 25, 2010, the Las Vegas Constable will begin a new enforcement effort within its township to enforce state car registration requirements. The effort includes the activation of the “Fair Share Hotline” at (702) 455-FAIR (3247). The public is encouraged to call the hotline to report alleged violators. Reports will be investigated by Las Vegas Constable deputies. The Las Vegas Township Constable has jurisdiction within the city of Las Vegas and a large part of unincorporated Clark County, including the urban valley and Indian Springs and Mount Charleston.

In this Article you will find out the top ten secrets to sell your cars for the highest value possible without spending a fortune.

1. Find out How much is your car worth.

There is plenty of cars magazines, newspapers and cars website online that you can use one of them to find how much is your car worth. In state, the bluebook value is a good one. I am pretty sure most other countries has an equivelant book. A good website to find other cars with the same specs as yours & can give you good a feeling of how much its worth is mecarz for used cars.

2. Don’t trade it in, but sell it.

Dealerships who allow you to trade in your old car for a newer one usually cut your car value by at least 30%. Don’t you believe that 30% is worth your effort in selling your car than trading it in.

3. Ensure that you have your car Registration Document/Certificate.

Your car Registeration Document/Certificate is the best indicator that the car is your & not stolen. If you have lost your car documents, then ensure you retrieve them before you try to sell your car. It will help you gain a better value of your car.

4. Try to sell your car yourself, not through a dealer ship as you will certainly receive more money for it.

A dealership has to ensure that he will make a descent profit out of your car, so for sure he will offer you way less than your car worth. If you are not in a hassle to sell your car & got the time to sell it on your own you will definitely make a better value of your car selling it on your own.

5. Get your car into the finest shape achievable, inside and outside

Give you car a professional cleaning before you even post it for sale. Take care of you tire pressure, oil and screen wash. Remember the look of your car is the first thing the buyer will see. The first impression is very important when trying to sell your car.

6. Advertise your car in the local newspapers, your church, & online.

Try to make a full use of free advertising forums online and your church ads board. A great place to advertise your used cars online for free will be mecarz.com. A lot of countries has some cars specialties magazines which allow you to advertise your car for free as well & they charge a small fee for the magazine buyer. Both of these can be a great free way to increase your car selling chances.

7. Always have an absolute lowest price in mind, and never go below it

You may have to negotiate your price, but never go below the one you had set your mind to.

8. Never allow a mediator.

No matter what the mediator a buyer bring with him say, be careful as he will always try to reduce of your car value. Remember at the end this mediator service is paid by the buyer, why will he consider to be honest to you!!

9. Finally, payment

Cash is always the best option, though bank draft is as good as cash. If you have to accept a check for the price of the car then ensure you don’t give the car key yet, till the check is cleared. Always be careful with checks as not all people as honest as your are.

Sorry I know these were 9, but I had skipped one reason that was on my mind when I started writing this article due to a lot of comments and recommendations to drop it by my friend Frank. Though these 9 tips should be enough to help you get the best price out of your car.

Has the economic downturn destroyed your plans for purchasing a new set of wheels? If the answer is yes, you are far from alone. Over the past 12 months, the new car market has all but dried up, leading to job cuts, factory closures and hordes of new cars remaining unsold and clogging up plant car parks. Bosses are even forcing workers to take paid leave to allow time for the backlog of cars to shift. The problem for the consumer is simply one of money; barely anyone who wasn’t a millionaire before the recession has any cash to spare. So what do you do if your car conks out and you desperately need a new one? Buy a used one, of course.

The used car market has often been tarnished by cynics as a hive of ne’er-do-wells looking to con everyone who passes by out of all their money. This may have been partly true in the spiv 70′s and greed-orientated 80′s, but times have changed. These days there are many reputable dealers who want your business and are willing to offer you incredible offers to get it. Because of the current economic climate the market is extremely competitive and the dealers know this. The only way they can stay afloat is by offering the best possible price and the best possible quality. This places the consumer in a very agreeable position, being in a better position to bargain and haggle to get the best deal.

Everybody with even a cursory interest in the automotive industry will be aware of how drastic the depreciation of cars is. As soon as a new car is driven off the forecourt, a car can have its value slashed by anything up to 50%. So why not take advantage of this knowledge and look for a car a year or so old that has barely been driven, but has had a huge percentage knocked off its value. A great idea is to look for ex-demonstration models, which may have only a couple of thousand miles on the clock. Technically these cars are second hand even though they have only been driven by the dealer and a few prospective buyers. These cars will have considerable discounts on them, even though they have hardly been touched. You have to be quick though, as these deals are often snapped up as soon as they are announced.

On the topic of mileage, I always remember some advice given to me in regards of buying a used car. Typically a car engine lifespan (depending on quality and other factors) probably only has a running life of around 100,000 miles. When choosing your used car it is worth considering how close the mileage is to the magic 100,000 mark. Ideally speaking, many great bargains can be found for 35,000 miles or less. These cars generally ensure a longer lifespan and better customer satisfaction. The only exceptions to this rule would generally be classic cars, which can be expected to have totted up a few more miles than a 2006 Vauxhall Corsa.

Many motorists harbour concerns that the used car they are buying has previously been written off or is stolen. These fears can easily be put to rest with a variety of new services offered in conjunction with the police and the DVLA. By checking a website or inputting the cars registration into a text message service you can easily find out the cars history and be sure the car you are buying is exactly what the dealer says it is. Should you discover that the car is not what it seems, then you should notify the police as soon as possible. This is a rare eventuality for a licensed trade dealer, as they have a lot more to lose in the current climate by gaining a bad reputation. It is worth checking though, for peace of mind if nothing else.

In summary, the used car market can generally be trusted, especially if using a reputable dealer. You may get a much better bargain if you do a little bit of research and at the moment I think everyone is looking for a bargain or two.

1. Save it. How boring, but helpful in the future. Even though NZ$10 a week might seem a trivial amount, over the year, this would add up to NZ$520 plus whatever interest you earn. What could you do with your saved tax cuts? If you were to spend it at the end of the year, it could go towards that holiday youve been planning for a while – that amount could get you a return flight to Melbourne. How about fixing the car so you wont have to buy a new one so soon? Or you could even continue to save it in a term deposit. 2. Pay off debt: Put it toward the credit card bills, personal loan repayments, or pay off hire purchase contracts quicker. Dont spend it and do the responsible thing. Start paying more than the monthly minimum repayments on your debts. If you reduce your debt now, youll find yourself in a better position in the future. If you have a student loan, you could focus your tax cut on that. The government has just introduced a policy, the Voluntary Repayment Bonus, where for payments over NZ$500, you will get an extra 10% bonus on what you paid. For example if you get NZ$520 a year in tax cuts and put all of that towards your student loan, the government would add an extra NZ$52 onto the repayment. Your loan would decrease by NZ$572, but you only had to pay NZ$520 of that. 3. Keep it: You may just need the tax cut to pay for increases in other fees and prices such as car registration or food prices. Starting from July, the motor vehicle levy is being increased by NZ …

The term classic car is frequently used to describe an older car. However, the exact meaning of the term classic car varies. Some may define a classic car as any car made before 1948. Other people define it as an antique car registration that was made over 15 years ago and can still function well and maintained in a condition that is adequately comfortable according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Whichever way one may define it, the agreement in all cases is that it is a car that is over 15 or more years old since the date of manufacture.Â

Classic cars are prestigious and many people want an opportunity to ride in one. This is why many manufacturers have decided to put up businesses on maintaining these cars in good condition. The classic cars may be very expensive to buy as they carry some sort of memory and history to them. However, many companies have come up with a way in which one can easily use the classic car for special occasions at a much lower cost. Renting classic cars has become a booming business in many countries because of the luxury and prestige the classic cars hold. Â

Make that special day memorable by using the car one has been dreaming of, classic car rentals will make the dream come true at least for a short period of time. The problem that one may encounter is finding the company that deals with the car rentals. One can locate the companies online and choose the nearest location. Some of the advantages of finding the classic car rentals online are that websites have displayed the directories of all the companies dealing with classic car rentals. On the websites, one will find over 120 classic car rental companies to choose from in more than twelve countries with over 1200 cars to choose from, which are updated each week. Â

For special occasions like weddings, one would like to know the process of renting a classic car. The answer to this is simple since there are very many classy cars available especially for weddings, one can select from the various categories. Most available cars are Ford Model T or Ford Model A, Essex Super Six, Rolls-Royces Silver Clouds, Bentleys Pontiac Bonneville and Mustangs. These cars are normally on high demand and the best way to secure one is to book early in advance, possibly the moment one has set a wedding date.

When renting a classic car one needs to know that not all classic cars are limos hence they do not have too much space between the driver and the bride and groom making the issue of privacy challenging. Before renting the classic car, it should be clear of grease on the doors, windows or even the floor of the car as this could stain the brides dress. The classic cars are rare and elegant when driven around. One should not miss the opportunity to use the prestigious classic cars for a special event.
