SONG: Fearless (250 and Dark Stars) ARTIST: Falling Up PROGRAM: WMM = (DISCLAIMER:) The song belongs solely to the people who produced, sang and created it. This video is purely fan-made, and no copyright infringement is intended. 1/10/09 UPDATE: I figured I might as well clarify that I am NOT male, cannot play the piano in such a breathtaking fashion, and did in NO WAY create this lovely music or animate these fabulous episodes, since two of my videos got deleted recently. *le sad sigh* SO THIS TOOK AN UNFATHOMABLY LONG TIME TO MAKE. It’s my baby, lol, *is shot* and is officially the fourth AMV I have ever created. I made it completely in Windows Movie Maker over the course of… well… s-several weeks. o_o The frighteningly long period of time is partially because both family computers crashed…and partially because I am a horrible perfectionist. On the bright side, we’ve got one of the computers back in working order, and I had fun playing around with the effects in Windows Movie Maker. XD That said, [ // BEWARE SPOILERS // ] for every released episode of Nabari no Ou, and chapters 47, 50, and 51 of the manga. If you wouldn’t like to see any manga spoilers (and I didn’t really put in any actual spoilers) please don’t watch the last 15 seconds of the video. The water droplets used for this AMV come from the first and only opening for Princess Tutu; Morning Grace, by Ritsuko Okazaki. I played around with them and cut and combined them to match them to the video. The …

My closest friend recently complainted about her son. That he is only interested in the computer, he refuses to read books or even play with other kids. But earlier she herself bought him a modern computer and game collection. Let him rather sit at home, it will keep him occupied and let me do my chores, so she thought.

That said, parents are blissfully unaware of the sort of information that their child is accessing through the computer. They do not suspect that the machine in their home has gone from being a toy, or a source of knowledge, to an object that essentially drives a gulf between the child and their parents, especially those parents who work. Step by step, kids tend to spend more and more hours playing on the computer.

Parents often become extremely distressed when their child is totally absorbed in playing on the computer. Certain pedagogues have accused computers of diminishing children’s knowledge of lexicology as it has been found that children cannot adequately recall certain words.

Medics made an important point that computer addiction has a negative influence on children’s health, behaviour and school progress. So, what should we do? Get rid of all home computers? Put a stop to technological progression? No, obviously we cannot do these things. It is impossible.

In one survey undertaken with children, we were able to uncover some of the facts. From the 30 children who were questioned, only one child claimed to be obsessed with the computer. That said, half of the children referred to computers in their answers, despite the fact that they did not consider themselves to be technically minded. Regardless of their age, children are gradually speaking of computers in their everyday conversations.

What do parents tell you to do? Unplug the computer; talk; go out. Mum cooks and dad goes on the computer.

Should parents punish their children and how?

If children do something wrong, then you can punish them for a short time. You could forbid playing on the computer or watching television for example. When you punish your child, it should be done fairly with absolutely no physical violence. A better way is to take away the child’s privileges, like their computer or pocket money for example.

What do you like doing? Playing on the computer and watching television. I love playing on the computer, but I like doing other things as well.

What rules should be imposed on children at home? Kids should be allowed to play computer games for 1-2 hours daily. I should have the right not to be disturbed when I am playing on the computer.

As we can see, the computer has become an essential part of children’s lives. How big a part this is, is very much dependent on us, the parents.Computers can help children with their studies. Computers can develop a child’s creative abilities and expose them to the vast and fascinating world.

However, this should be under one condition: that parents and their children use the computer together and that parents help their kids to find websites about animals, nature, technology and any subject that the child may be interested in.

Parents should engage their little ones with all creative activities that can be done with the aid of the computer. It could be colouring in, drawing, reading, finding useful information and even making new friends. With the help of their parents, children can create their own sites and take part in different competitions.

Parents must familiarise themselves with computer games and forbid any games that involve shooting and killing. They must also teach their children to be safe when working on the computer so that they do not ruin their eyesight or hurt their backs from a bad posture.

If parents show their children that the computer can be a source of help and wisdom, then it will be beneficial to them.

In contrast, computers can take over a child’s life and become a substitute for reality. They can teach them cruel things, feed them harmful information and expose them to a world of violence and terror.

All depends on what one uses it for as the computer can be a great aid in sources for knowledege. But, at the same time, if used incorrectly, it could even destroy their minds and lives. What it turns out to be is dependent on us, the parents, who can influence the ways in which our children use the computer.

Google Tech Talks April, 9 2008 ABSTRACT New Light on the Dawn of Digital Computing, 1945-1958 The digital universe consists of two kinds of bits: differences in space and differences in time. Digital computers translate between these two forms of information–structure and sequence–according to definite rules. Sixty-three years ago, at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, NJ, John von Neumann and a small group of nonconformists launched a project to do this at electronic speed. The resulting architecture and coding has descended directly to almost all computers now in use. Von Neumann succeeded in jump-starting the computer revolution by bringing engineers into the den of the mathematicians, rather than by bringing mathematicians into a den of engineers. The stored-program computer, as conceived by Alan Turing and delivered by John von Neumann, broke the distinction between numbers that *mean* things and numbers that *do* things. Our universe would never be the same. With a mere 5 kilobytes of random access memory, von Neumann and colleagues tackled previously intractable problems ranging from thermonuclear explosions, stellar evolution, and long-range weather forecasting to cellular automata, genetic coding, and the origins of life. Programs were small enough to be completely debugged, but hardware could not be counted on to perform consistently from one kilocycle to the next. This situation is now reversed. Speaker: George Dyson

Alex Jones Websites Under Massive And Sustained Attack www.infowars.com Paul Joseph Watson www.prisonplanet.com Tuesday, March 9, 2010 Alex Jones websites were assaulted by a massive, organized and sustained attack today which is still ongoing as zombie computers around the world were used to launch a denial of service attack which is undoubtedly related to our ongoing efforts to expose the governments Cybersecurity agenda as the gargantuan threat to Internet freedom it represents. It appears to be a Distributed Denial of Service attack, utilizing zombied (or hacked) computers all over the world to overwhelm our servers, disabling them from serving normal traffic, states our Infowars systems administrator. As Wikipedia explains, a DoS attack consists of Saturating the target (victim) machine with external communications requests, such that it cannot respond to legitimate traffic, or responds so slowly as to be rendered effectively unavailable. In general terms, DoS attacks are implemented by either forcing the targeted computer(s) to reset, or consuming its resources so that it can no longer provide its intended service or obstructing the communication media between the intended users and the victim so that they can no longer communicate adequately. This is precisely what happened to Prison Planet.tv and Infowars.net today, while flagship websites Infowars.com and Prison Planet.com have also come under attack but are still holding up at time of press. The last such attack …

The advent of the computers radically changed our lifestyle. Communication, researching and other works have never been any easier.

Computers are machines that work on data according to the list of instructions. Early electronic computers consume much power. Modern computers, on the other hand, are based on tiny integrated circuits. Nowadays, simple computers can be made to fit in a wristwatch and powered by watch batteries.

Generally, a computer has four main sections such as the ALU or the arithmetic and logic unit, the memory, the control unit and the IO or the input and output devices. The basic input and output, control unit, register and control units are known as the CPU or central processing unit. Early central processing units were composed of numerous circuits but now it is typically assembled on a single integrated circuit known as a microprocessor.

The Arithmetic or Logic Unit (ALU) is capable of executing two modules of operation such as logic and arithmetic. Some computers are capable of executing easier operations that can be programmed to break the complex operations, making them into easy executable steps. Hence, a Superscalar computer has multiple arithmetic or logic units.

There are numerous computer companies around the world. One of this is the Yemen Computer Company. It is the main and pioneer company of Yemen. It is the most experienced and the largest computer company in this country.

Furthermore, this Yemen based company is a computer software and hardware vendor or distributor. It also represents Intel servers, IBM products, Sun Microsystems products and POS products. It also caters to ATM products, Satellite Communication products as well as their related support supplies and systems.

The company is also associated with numerous software houses in order to provide the needs of commercial, trading, public utilities, airlines and telecommunication along with banking sectors. Yemen Computer Company has several headquarters located in Yemen. This would be in Mukalla, Hodeidah, Taiz, Aden and Sana.

Tactical Computer Company is the leading cutting edge software development company. This Ohio based company offers services such as Custom Software Development, Custom Web Solution, Emerging Technologies, Lost Password Recovery and Online Commerce as well as Internet Site Development, Database Design and Integration, Security and Firewall Specialists.

Ormond Computer Company is an Information Technology department for companies that do not have an in-house and full time Information Department. It can also be for those with only a small Information Technology that needs outside assistance. The company technicians can build and design your workstation or server. All Custom Built Systems of the company are built with premier quality components.

Helix Computer Company is based in Indiana. The goal of the company is to provide quality services and products to their consumer. The company has services such as Custom Built Computers, Video and Audio Production Services, Photography and Design Services. This is along with Website Design and Marketing Services, Computer Services and Repair.

Helix Computer company can build turn-key computer systems for numerous applications. The Company production studio was constructed with a self-sufficient artist in mind. Helix production studios are capable of making videos, audios, graphics, animation and so much more.

Computers may be quite expensive but you can scout for refurbished ones such as Dell Computers that can collect their old model computers while still be installed with the latest technology. This model is great and affordable in budget terms.

Sometimes a basic computer may be enough for your needs. The bare bones model is also great if you only check e-mails, word processes and surf the Internet. Dell retails basic models for less than 500 US dollars. This basic system is a good deal for common users.
